LawRight (formerly QPILCH) assists Queenslanders who are disadvantaged in our legal system - those who experience homelessness or mental health concerns, are refugees, young people transitioning from care, self-represented litigants or those who need civil law representation.
Without LawRight, clients can’t secure housing, income and legal rights, participate confidently in the justice system or improve their well-being.

LawRight connects with clients through on-line, state-wide intake or through direct contact with clients at hospitals, health, homelessness and community services in Brisbane, Townsville, Cairns and Toowoomba.
LawRight is a partnership with private law firms, barristers, law schools and other community, health and justice stakeholders to provide efficient, effective, evidence-based solutions to community problems.

LawRight resources the community with innovative tools to access justice, including the Legal Health Check, Legalpedia, training for community workers and on-line videos.

In 2015-16, LawRight assisted over 3,000 disadvantaged Queenslanders in partnership with the Queensland legal profession who provided more than 22,000 hours of pro bono services.
